Excellent picture quality, child lock, digital scan to improve picture by line vibration. Wouldn't worry much about the sound, as I have connected the Scart 1 to my Sony STR-DE435 Receiver. Perfect PAL picture. Has 3 euroconnectors. Still waiting when Australia transmits digital broadcast on 1/1/2001. Easy setup and on screen help. Very stylish looking home theater design. Receives both German (Zweiton) and NICAM Digital Stereo. Would have prefered if there's another connection for S-Video on it's rear.

Good 32" Widescreen Television set with 2 SCART video connections (RGB/S-VIDEO/Composite) + separate side connections for quick connect of videocamera etc (Left and Right RCA STERO audio input + RCA komposite video + S-Video and all necessary picture modes (4:3, 16:9, subtitled 16:9, SuperZoom, 14:9 and Widescreen). Two fairly well sounding 80W speakers (Nicam STEREO) but no integrated subwoofer like the model before this on. Lots of nice features to improve picture quality. This unit performs very well with DVD through S-VIDEO.
Overall a good quality CRT Widescreen television. Although Philips television sets is annoyingly slow when using remote control and does not have a really flat screen lite some Sony models.
