I have only owned a cheap pioneer, and a cheap sony brand recievers in the past. I have some ancient Jensen "walmart specials" Loud speakers and some semi ancient KLH loud speakers, but have never heard them sound so good. This was the best stereo investment I have ever made. Some day hope to own some mid to lower top range speakers so I can truly appreciate this reciever. |

Strength:
Clean, clear sound
Weakness:
Tough to get two speaker wire ends onto one post if you have normal sized fingers, but where there is a will, there's a way. (you will be rewarded for your effort) Onkyo TX-8522 6-month Report card.
Customer Service Place of purchase J&R.com has treated me like a VIP. No contact with Onkyo yet. Similar Products Used: I have an 80 watt JVC combo receiver-DVD player in another room that has performed flawlessly for 3 years or so and I turn this baby WAY up, often. |
