This integrated amplifier is my final one in a quite extensive search to find the ultimate sound for my budget. I started out wit Yamaha RX500 with B&W Dm7 after the tweeters went bust and the volume pot too, i chose a marantz PM80mk2 and b&w CM5 s2 this sounded allright but a bit too boomy, i soon traded this for ATC SCM19 and a musical fidelity integrated, this was a great setup with a great 3d image Because of the placement (always an issue) i always wanted to try a roomcorrection of some sort, so I traded my musical fidelity A1008 for the Lyngdorf 2200 and after measuring it in fully i was and am still stunned! The image is really great, detail very crisp, and no disturbing issues with frequencies that are amplified by the corner placement. I lately traded my ATC’s in for Tannoy D500 to get a little bit more bass depth, and also to try the dual concentric And this is my final set for now ! This sounds great for the 3000€ budget Weakness:
The weaknesses are - speed in shifting between inputs - very fine volume knob is a virtue and slow also because it needs some time to turn up the db’s - only 2 speaker outputs, - no chance to select the TDAI as preamp or amp only. But no major issues for me. Greatly reccomended !! Lyngdorf tdai2200 Tannoy D500 Hul cables Eragold gspaudio phonoamp Microseiki DQX500 with ortofon bronze MM Bluesound node 2 Price Paid: 1850

Absolutely SUPERB product! After a life filled with all manner of audio equipment, hundreds of hours in listening rooms, dozens of live concerts and operas, countless time spent listening and recording in small, cafe-sized music venues, and thousands of hours of playing various pianos, I have reached the blissful end with my beloved Lyngdorf electronics. Besides the TDAI 2200, I also own the CD1 CD player. I have been through years spent with vacuum tubed amps, monoblocks and preamps, dreaded solid state electronics, and even built a stout Tripath module-based digital amp. Brands I've owned and lived with over the years: Eico, Heathkit, Dynaco, Hafler, Kenwood, NAD, McIntosh, Perreaux, Audio Research, Nakamichi, Tandberg, Threshold, Vincent, Sony, Phase Linear, and more. All of what I've sought over the decades I have found in the Lyngdorf products.

Handles audio structure such as timming and beat in a very good way.
