Top of the ONYX Classic series balanced CD player. Designed with separate power supplies the ability to SACD-read discs. In my opinion, after having compared this player intensively with devices of Krell and Cayin, it is a indeed reference player with an excellent price performance ratio. Mind you, the other players were more than two times more expensive. Worthwhile to check out for even the most demanding audiophile! The machine performs surprisingly with very detailed and quiet sound image. Also the bass is well controlled and also on higher volumes remains the sound pleasant. Very convenient have the possibility to switch with a simple push button between SACD and CD to listen. XLR and cinch outputs ?! Please check the web for (inside) pictures.
