I will never part with my NS-F700 speakers not ever! Deep rounded bass with clear natural mids and breathtaking highs!! Nothing really come close to the performance of the Yamaha NS-F700 speakers at the price range. Pairs really good with my Marantz!

I have been listening to the Yamahas side by side with my Martin Logan Mosaic speakers. For amplification i have been using an Audio Innovations valve integrated amplifire. CD-Player Yamaha CD-S 1000. I would recomend the Yamaha NS-F700 over the Martins any day. More details and air. Cant say it would mather what kind of music i put in the CD player, still the Yamahas outperfomed the Martins.

Some might say the Yamahas is a bit sharp and to crisp in the highend, and that may be the case if you pair it up with a amplifire that tends to be on the bright side. But with the valve amp. ive been using the NS-F700 is a bargain.
