High frequencies lack detail and extension although mid and low frequencies are good and dynamic range is very respectable. I chose this over the cx300 because I needed the volume control and the balanced cable lengths. I always had problems wearing earphone so these earbuds are great and they come with a few sets of spare parts.

Overall, very happy with this little earbuds given its price. Very easy to drive and love the noise isolation nature of earbuds. My other earphones are Grado SR80 which is open (you can see what I like the noise isolation with earbuds) but they have much better high-frequency performance. They also cost more.

Pros: Good mid and bass, comfortable, noise isolation, volume control, balanced cable lengths, angled plug, pouch, spare parts

Cons: Weak high-frequency, no wind-up case to store the earbuds (although it did come with pouch and a "cover" for the buds.
