Strength:
I totally agree with Eric, These earphones deliver much lively and realistic sound as many much expensive ones, especially when playing “unplugged” music. The do NOT sound muddy and dead at all, and the bass is not shallow at all. I state this as an acoustic guitar player and listener. Weakness:
One real thing is their tension and uncomfortableness over long listening periods. I wish I had the same sound experience with softer and better isolating cushions, as well as more robust and conforting headband. Price Paid: 35

Strength:
Comfortable, great "alive" sound. Very balanced between the highs, mids and lows.
Weakness:
Deep bass and the 2.5 meter cord (should be 3 meters). I've tried the Sony MDR-CD380 and the Sennheiser 495. I like the DT-131 more. They don't have the deep bass of the Sonys but they are much livelier. And the bass doesn't break up like with the 495s. Similar Products Used: Sony MDR-CD380 Sennheiser 495 |
