I purchased this blu-ray player to complete my home theater set up. I use this my blu-ray player with a Samsung LN52A630 LCD TV and a Harman Kardon AVR-445. I opted for this blu-ray player because it can decode the newer HD audio formats and transmit decoded signal out the 7.1 analog outputs so my older receiver can play the loss-less audio. This unit is great where it matters most. While other players may have fancy features, this model excels at providing an excellent picture and sound! Picture and sound quality are both first rate! The only drawback is that it takes a long time for this unit to load a disc. Other than that, this player is perfect. Buy this player and you will not be disappointed.
