I love these people that pop in and through a bad number without actually knowing about the product. This is a DVD player for the 70% of the world that doesn't play blu-ray, and for someone who wants the best picture just below blu-ray quality, and it handles very well all 1080 formats, with simple setup and use with either HDMI or coaxial. The picture is truly amazing for DVD and the sound output is exact to Dolby and DTS standards. Please don't compare this with the low end junk that comes from some manufacturers, this is Marantz through and through.
