I purchased these to use as primary speakers (two channel) being driven by a Marantz AV5004 receiver & matching BD player. Initially, I was very happy. Still am really but, I happened to audition a pair of PSB Image T6's and upgraded immediately. Big difference. I now use the Alpha T1's as my rears when I listen by way of 5.1 surround. For the money, I haven't listened to anything that is noticeably better.

I just bought the pair on sale for 399 cdn dollars last week. Great speakers for the price. Well worth three times that money. Imaging and clarity are outstanding.
Bass is beautiful and tight. It`s like you`re at the concert. Highly recommanded. Don`t forget to put them one or two feet from back and side walls.
