I have never used this receiver product. I will consult more before buying it to use for my Super Mario gameplay

That suggests to me that the amplifier has the ability to do whatever you want it can do, but it needs good quality components to do it. That also suggests that those reviewers that have low marked it have not matched this brilliant powerful amp to a decent source or speakers. tow truck service

I found these in a thrift shop last year for $39. They were in like-new condition except for smelling like cigarettes. I put them into a “vintage” setup all my with a Pioneer turntable and amplifier (not a receiver) from the same time period. Gainesville Garage Service

Heavy due to the massive and amazing build but you will get over that.

Flat out one of finest receivers pioneer made. I run the receiver flat no treb or bass and the sound is Awesome. Power out the a##, 2 turntable inputs and 2 tape deck inputs along with an auxiliary input. With 3 sets of speaker outputs and all your equipment it looks intimidating. The sound is crisp smooth and clean. The only system I would consider to be better is the sx1980 but you need a little tone adjustment to make it sound the same as a flat six-1250

The only weakness it weighs about 65lbs.

The SX 1250 is a beast. Well designed and engineered. High grade components that last. Over 40 yrs old, it's been recapped and tuned up. It just plain sounds great.

It does need a tune up, pots and switches cleaned ever few years, but it's old enough to have earned it!

There’s none really I can detail but it’s very akward and heavy due to the massive and amazing build but you will get over that.
