I have used this product on the edges of my cd for a few years now nad have found it to be a big help in removing that digital edge sound..now many people say that this makes no difference because of the wave length of the laser and blah,blah,blah.. I've been lisenting to music live and recorded..nad I know what makes a difference and what doesn't..this stuff workes and works well.. I've ahve even taken one of my retiring cd players apart and have also painted the dics drawer with it in my experiments I found the biggest change came from painting the lens edges with the stop light.. using a very small paint brush I coated the lens up to the little ridge...and also os my sony you could easily remove the little plastic cover around the lens and paint that too inside and out..you may think this a bit extreme but he results are quite dramatis..a technical friend of mine said that it did work but he could not tell me why it did...try ti it even works with funky boom boxes and portables..water based so easy clean up..remember to clean the edges fo your cds with windex to make the stoplight stick better..happy lisening... bzs |

Strength:
everything
Weakness:
for what it can do ? none i was only encouraged to use this product from this site. at first , i was trying to get the idea on how it works, on why cant we just use an ordinary pen to cover the edge of the cd, but anyway, this item is a recommended "tweak" if you want to remove the harshness of your cds. sound is more detailed, bass is deeper, mid is just right. i dont for other high end cd player system out there, maybe they do not need anymore a cd with an edge treatment , but as for me with a limited budget on cd player, the CD stoplight is a must !
