Strength:
Screen and key layouts are great. Easy to use and the base is very good
Weakness:
It breaks easily. With normal use (didnt drop it or anything), the thing just wont record anymore. TOC error or something, then it cant read some of my previously record MDs. There''s no decent service center here in the Philippines that can do the repair...they just say, we havent have the parts or havent experienced reapiring an MD recorder...and they call themselves repair center! The sound quality, the size and overall look and use is good, but if its easily broken...well....and to top it, no service center to do the repair Similar Products Used: Sony |

Strength:
When it works, it works well.
Weakness:
Constant trips to the repair departments for UTOC error. Enough parts have been replaced to buy (2) of these units. The sound quality and features of this unit make it a good value. The price of replacement batteries from Kenwood is extreme. Too bad this companies philosophy is to stick-it-to consumers on after sale items. To me, this says a lot about Kenwood (and others doing the same). |

Strength:
It is very easy to record from any source. Plus, the controls are very clear and easy to use. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for great recording capabilities. Similar Products Used: Every Sharp portable minidisc recorder. |
