Ok I admit, I was floored by the looks of this sleek and sultry stand but I soon discovered this stand had more than looks ...it had teeth. Thats right ,you heard me right,I did say teeth. Not only did I damn near cut off my finger lifting this stand out of my truck on the garage door(yes garage door)I also soon realized that the hollowed out support beam in the rear, wasnt so smooth...I found a rough and jagged surface looming inside just waiting to decapitate the ends of my interconnects!I only suffered minor damages in excess of $3000.00(silver cables),so to anyone at StandDesign Iam now taking donations for some high quality copper cables... |

I am also very happy with this stand. Very strong, stable, fairly easy to level, excellent ventilation (staircase design), and quite attractive. The cable run is pretty good and helps with the looks. I used the cable run for power cords primarily. Appropriate interconnect lengths keep everything else tidy. |

I LOVE MY RACK. I THINK MOST OF THE PEOPLE I HAVE OVER PAY MORE ATTENTION TO THE RACK THAN THE EQUIPMENT ON IT, AT LEAST UNTIL I TURN IT ON... |

I found the edges of the cord beam to be rough, and it is often hard to lead multiple wires through it without tearing up your fingers. It is also very rough on the cables. |

Excellent 4-shelf stand. Very well built, and plenty of room for even thelargest of amplifiers. One piece steel frame. The top shelf sits on mini-spikes to isolate further any component you desire. Very nice looking too. Comes with spikes for carpets. Highly recommended. I'm glad I didn't settle for one of those cheapo' shelving units at Walmart!! |
