Strength:

Inexpense, Looks, Solid construction and easy to assemble.

Weakness:

I must admit I was sceptical initially with the build quality. But once I completed the easy no tools assembly. I was impressed with the solid construction and looks. For money it's tough to beat!

This stand is very good for the money. I bought one new at audio advisor for $200. It is solidly built, and can be constructed in less than 15 minutes without tools. Highly recommended.

Sturdy, easily constructed, good looking

Yeah yeah, I got it from Audio Advisor too. Great rack for the money, or a lot more. Assembly easy--tho watch screwing the rods into the top shelf flanges, they don't go nearly as far in as they appear to. Bought the extra bottom shelf and casters as well, mobility being more important in my set-up than absolute deadness (unit sits in large closet on separate foundation from stereo). Looks fine, solid and rigid without weighing a ton, holds everything with plenty of horizontal and (more importantly) vertical space. BEWARE OF THE 5-SHELF VERSION--it's the 4-shelf with an extra added in, which lowers average vertical spacing from 9" to 7-1/2"--too short for my power amp at 8" and insufficient for my A/V receiver (which while not oversize runs fairly warm and needs as much top clearance as possible).

Strength:

Inexpensive, yet solid.

Weakness:

none really.

I am very impressed with this rack. I bought from audiodirect.com for just under $200. Assembly time was only about 15 mins. There is also a video stand that matches for a tv...think i will get that next. E-mail me if you want to see a picture of my setup. If your getting an audio rack and don't want to spend $500 bucks get this, its damn cool!

Strength:

Easy to assemble, classy looks, sturdy

Weakness:

None really.

Just got this from audioadvisor.com. They shipped it out in less than 2 days, and assembly was straightforward and simple. The quality of this rack is evident. It has heft and weight to it, and the black MDF shelving and thick black support tubing are beautiful. The Euro styling is very elegant, and this rack adds class and form to any room you place it in. If you don't want to spend more than $200 for a quality audio rack, you can't go wrong with this model.

Strength:

Very sturdy, inexpensive, easy to assemble, clean look

Weakness:

Not very interesting to look at, nothing at price point

This is an excellent rack, I looked around for racks under $200 and this one was by far the best. If your looking for a nice, sturdy rack, but don't want to spend 400-500 dollars this is the rack for you. I was a little sceptical when I bought the rack, thinking it might not be as good as everyone says it is. But it is truly a fantastic rack, if you buy one you'll be happy with it.

Rack just came in today. I ordered it from www.AudioAdvisor.Com for $199.95. The rack is easy to assemble with no tools. It is very stable.
I particularly liked the specs on this model because of the generous shelf size (24 inches wide by 18 inches deep with 19.5 inches free area between the supports). This allowed my widest & deepest components to sit comfortably on the shelves. All of my components fit inside of the supports so that there were no obstructions to hooking up cables on the back panels. There is also 9 inches of usable height between each shelf. This was important to me because I have a couple of pretty tall components.

Cosmetically, I would describe this rack as utilitarian but not unfashionable. It is solid black, with sturdy MDF shelves. The shelves have what appears to be a durable textured finish. The shelves have a graceful curve on the front and a rounded bevel all-around.

I give this shelf a 5 because it delivers what it promisses at a reasonable price.

I purchased this rack at www.audioadvisor.com for $199.95. It is easy to assemble without tools and is very sturdy.
The rack is fairly utilitarian but attractive. It is solid black with MDF shelves coated with an (apparently) durable textured finish. The shelves have a pleasing curve on the front and are beveled. The shelves are supported by four round steel posts (actually segmented between each shelf, but appear continuous). The posts are footed with cones which can be fitted with spikes or pads (both included).

I selected this shelf over other possible contendenders because of price, reputed stability, and especially generous size. Each shelf measures 24 inches wide by 18 inches deep with 19.5 inches of clear space between the posts. This allowed all of my compontents to sit inside the supports, so there were no obstructions when hooking up cables. There is 9 inches of usable height between the shelves, so even unusually tall components fit well.

I give this shelf a 5 because it delevers what it promises at a reasonable price.

I also bought a pair of these from Audio Advisor. I filled the lower legs with Lead Shot for increased mass and damping. I would criticize this design since there really wasn't a good way to fiull the top support tube with sand or shot, because of the way it fits together.
The net result though was a much cleaner looking system (my wife is much happier) and the sound is excellent. They aren't the best stand on the market but they do represent a tremendous value for the money.

Strength:

Inexpensive, easy to assemble, good quality parts.

Quality of the components is very good. The metal tubes look very nice, and the wood shelves are very solid. Packing was excellent, no damage in shipping.

The only problem I had was that the top metal mounts that the threaded rods screw into are easy to rip out from the top shelf. Don't attempt to tighten the threaded rod too much, or lift the rack up by only the top shelf. I modified mine to use t-nuts through the top shelf to securely attach the rod mounts to.

Overall, a nice stand for $200.
