Strength:
Outstanding sound, Auto Set-up.
Weakness:
Remote is complicated, frustrating, and there are possibly QC concerns (backlight). I truly believe that this receiver approaches separates for sound quality. However, I highly recommend extreme patience when you start to program the remote; it has many capabilities, but the "learning curve" was major for me!!! Similar Products Used: Denon AVR 2700 |

Strength:
Fidelity, dyjmanic range, video conversion, power.
Weakness:
The remote and the auto set-up took a little cerebral effort. I replaced my Sony 5000ES with the 3805 and I could not be more impressed with my new Denon. The dynamic range is excellent: attacks are crisp, and I can understand a soft voice at the same volume level I enjoy a shootout! With the Sony, I had to frequently adjust the volume and the sound felt a little muddy. The human engineering is also excellent. The system was easy to set up, the remote is cutting edge, and the surround effects choices should please everyone from the home theater enthusiast to the audiophile.
