Strength:

With the 4800, there really was a sweet spot when setup, the 4806 allows you to be in most any spot in front and it sounds wonderful. Excellent detail and power. More power than I need and give complete distortion free sound when played loud.

Weakness:

Remote is weak, would prefer a notmal remote with normal buttons, I feel like the blue screen is going to fall off on it.

I have been using the 4800 with the matching POA-5200 amp for 7.1. When I saw this I jumped on it and replaced me old system with it. I am using Boston Accoustic Speakers 7.4 the 975's, 965's etc. Very happy, one comment is in the Matrix, I in the beginning the gal is running across the metal roof. With the 4800, did not really hear the foot steps with the impact. Using the 4806 I hear them clearly. I am totally satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this unit to anyone.

Similar Products Used:

4800 with POA5200. And a ton more of Yamaha etc products.
