Strength:

Great power, Clean looks.

Weakness:

Lack of S-vid, only one optical input, Remote is hard to program

I purchased the avr 100 about six months ago along with a pair of polk RT 800's, I am very impressed with the performance of this entry level HK a/v reciever. The wattage rating is only 50 watts but the thirty Amps is what truely sets this unit apart from the Sony's and the Yamaha's I have dealt with in the past.

I would recomend purchasing the HK universal remote, mine is on order from a local store and if it does half of everything that it it supposed to I will be pleased.
