This unit was part my first component system......It is OK and served me well for many years, but I am moving on to real HIFI......If you are looking for your first low budget component system this receiver will be great....built quality seemed good; good power.....I paired with Nad 512 CD player and Paradigm Titans....oh yah; real nice feature was the PHONO stage so if you want to use that old turntable collecting dust in your basement or start dabbling in vinyl this is a nice feature
