The SR9300 is a tank. It is easily calibrated. It has plenty of power for a medium room if you have sensitive speakers. It handles all formats prior to Dolby True HD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD (basically everything up until advent of BluRay). It has never failed and is used everyday. The onboard microprocessor gets a bit noisy (revved up) during DTS-ES playback for some reason ... otherwise it is quiet as a mouse. I highly recommend this product and love mine.
