Every time I listen to it hooked up to vintage 2 way Genesis 1 speakers.Then compare the exact same music, song to a much more expensive reciever and 2 speakers I realize simple quality older speakers sound A lot better and a 90s pioneer reciever that cost me 50 bucks is as good if not a little better than a very expensive 5 star reciever I wish I never bought. Now I really believe articles I read how marketing in the audio world for new products is just to make money and has nothing to do with the truth. Kind of like POLITICIANS?

Myself for wasting my money on hype

I had bought this receiver off of a guy on kijiji and I keep looking for higher quality receiver but this 5.1 blows 7.1 and newer receivers away even its newer big brother pioneer 7.1 cannot compare to the sound quality and power to this beast I had put it back on kijiji with now bites and had taken it off because even though of this age this beast it still preforms just as good if now better than my 5.1 HD sony receiver
