Strength:
Power, dynamics, tone, etc.
Weakness:
Absolutely none I waited for years to find this receiver at a price that I could afford, and finally in 2006 the Gods smiled upon me. I have owned many components in the last 40+ years: Dynaco, McIntosh, Marantz, Phase Leniar, Carver, etc.
Similar Products Used: Owned Yamaha 2095 and RXV 3000 very decent units, but not in the sonic class of the Sunfire for sound

Strength:
Clean articulate power. Easy to use. 5 year warrenty.
Weakness:
Box is too deep for the shelf I have it on. Can't think of any others. I'm happy now. I was in the stereo business back in the 70's and had the bug since them. Upgraded continuously, then crashed and sold it all. went to receivers but they never solded as good to me as my old (memory) seperates.
Customer Service Had a issue when I bought it, (demo) and Sunfire sent me a shipping carton, repaired, upgraded, and returned it to me in 2 weeks. Having been in the business before, this is great service. Similar Products Used: Pioneer Elite VSX -9TX , Phase Linear 200, Parasound 1205, varios integrateds |
