ooking up subwoofer 5.1 surround

bathroom renovation newcastle I have an older teac ag-v3050 a/v surround reciever that doesn't have a subwoofer output, my question is I can buy a rc plug that goes to speaker wire, I would use the rc plug into a powered subwoofer then run speaker wire to either the center channel output or would it be better to us the front left and right outputs? which is going to send the the better low HZ?

I have owned it since 1996. Still works well after all these years. I use it everyday. Radio reception is less than optimal but I rarely listen to the radio with it. It has ample power to drive my Radio Shack Mach One speakers

As mentioned above, radio reception is marginal

Bought in '96, had a problem with unit sporadically powering down without cause. Returned it to factory for repair in '96, and it has run successfully since then; and it's 2017 now. Great for using with older AV peripherals; very versatile unit.

I've had this since 1994 the remote just went out. Radio reception sucks but overall it's a good product.
