DESCRIPTION

The RX-V492 is a 5-channel receiver providing superb Pro Logic performance and processing and Yamaha's Digital Sound Field Processing and Cinema DSP. Discrete power transistors rather than IC chips are used in the amplifier section to provide the cleanest sound possible. The amp delivers 70 watts each to the three front channels and 20 watts each to the rear surround channels. The center channel and subwoofer have pre-out connections. This allows you to add outboard amplification to the center channel and direct subwoofer connection. The advanced universal remote control with the RX-V492 comes already programmed with codes for most A/V products.
