Clear, balanced and powerful it plays all types of music with any speakers you throw at it with detail. This amp is a keeper. I’ve owned nads, luxmans and sansui’s. All of these previous brands had flaws like muddy midrange,or sounds good with a particular genre, or with certain speakers but not others etc.. This amp has taken away my need to search for something better that does it all in a no fuss manner.

It has a fan, it’s noisy. You can hear it when the music stops. Easy fix though. Take out the old fan and replace it with a modern quiet one. One of the attractractions for me was class a/b switchable. There is a sound difference but it’s so slight for most things it doesn’t matter. Is this a flaw? Not really, I just thought I might hear a greater difference.
