I bought this amp when I switched from a receiver back to separates (from a Denon AVR-4306 to an Integra DTC-9.8 mated with this amp) and have been very happy. It mates well with my system, originally used Vienna Acoustic speakers but have since switched to PSB Imagine B's. Clarity is good, very quiet - just solid. At this time I'm only using 4 of the 7 channels, basically just running the Imagine's bi-amped as I've not set up surrounds in my new apartment.

I compared this with an Anthem PVA-5 and this amp just mated better.
