Together with the McIntosh MC 352, this is the 'best' 'real-world' amp.

For a tube amp, none.

I listened to this and the SF Power 2, similair price, similair power, but it was NO CONTEST. Somehow, the ARC made the music that much more sweet and musical. If you can put up with changing tubes and the heat, this is the amp to get. If not, then it's a Mac. The ARC VT 100 Mk2 resides in that area where it's at the highest point for dollars spent before diminishing returns kick in. As an example, the ARC REference 600 is, in my opinion, maybe 10% better, but it costs 6 times as much. 2 thumbs for the VT 100 Mk2!!!
