After being away for over a year (see my review below) I have just purchased another 2B-LP and am running in bi-amp mode with a B60RP driving a pair of Aerial 6 speakers. After listening to my McIntosh MC300 for about a year and then several other amps (VTL and Mac tube, Classe, NAD, newer Mac), I find that long-term, nothing sounds as good as this little amp running in a bi-amp configuration. Just like I did it before for ten great years of listening. Clean, taut, smooth, never a hick-up. The best in deep, transparent soundstage. Can place all the players. Just nothing like being back home, I guess. Balance of system is a Rega 3 with Grado Sonata, Sony CDP-CA9ES changer, McIntosh MR7082 tuner, Tara Labs and Cardas interconnects. Wonder if having only two output devices per channel make the 2B-LP and B60 so clean and quick. Get hear all the music at reasonable listening levels. Wonderful setup. Thanks to Chris Russell at Bryston for his helpful conversations and e-mails. |

Strength:
High and mid-range sound / also size
Weakness:
none so far This amp is very under-rated. It can compete with many of the larger , more powwerful amps out there. Great warranty; might as well be lifetime. I plan to have another one soon. Graet products! Similar Products Used: Carver, Rotel |
