This amp is so under rated, it's funny. It's a bona-fide steal, especially used. Solid throughout all ranges. Even with multiple amps, it's one that I can't seem to part with. Any shortcomings are minimal. The other reviewer must have something that went awry later, as he states the superlatives diminished over time.

If one comes available, it's one of those belonging to the "buy/try club".

Build quality looks good. Packing was impressive.

Not much to look at (plain faceplate), Blue LED is too bright feels like high beams if the amp is up high on a shelve, XLR only..., High definition = brightness, Sterile SS sound that tube folks dislike.

At first I liked this amp. Detailed, open, lively, and spacious. After time it began to get a bit too "high definition" losing it's musicality. I tried a couple of preamps XLR only and really didn't have much luck cooling off the treble. Amp is quite and can perform at a level that is similiar to other amps in this price range. If your speakers are on the laid back side and you don't need tons of power this might be a good choice. I didn't have much luck in my setup.
