For hours without your Ears Bleeding Like some of the Older
Krells. Might not be have the Krell Bass. But with this
kinda of Midrange Bloom and Silky Smooth Treble I Can live
without the Bass Slam.I tried The Matching CP-60 but was
not that Impressed with it.Cant go wrong for the Price
and Classe is always eager to Please.

I've had many amplifiers, both tube and solid state.
I,ve had B&k, MUSE, then went on to krell; 250, CJ;ev2000
which was a great amp. Had quick silver 60s,the later being
very musical, but no real power. I finely found a amplifier
the CLASSE CA- 400 . THE SEARCH IS OVER , I found a amp that
is I beleave the the most, musical, trasparent,harmonicly
rich , amp regardless of price. I,ve heard krell 600,
M-L towers , great amps, but to me not as musical. This amp
to me is second to none. MY 25 years of buying ampifers is over. mario

Power, detail, staging,

This is a giant killer, the price is much lower than ML and Krell. But if you want to listen to high end music, this is the amp to get. This is the sleeper of all big power SS amp.
The bass is great, the mid are tube like, the high is sweet, crystal clear and not roll off as a lot of the tubes amp.
It has the power to drive any power angry speakers!

I submitted the last review with the incorrect price, I actually paid $4900. This amp is quiet, smooth and dynamic. Excellent image focus, wide and deep soundstage. This amp will drive any speaker, and drive it well.

I have used two CA 400's in mono mode for the past 3 months and if one was great Two are even better.These amps have the ability to get the most inner detail from any source and present it in the most musical way.I have auditioned amps from every price range and for me and my system the Classe's are best.
