I purchased the amp for my 2 channel system. I have had them for 3 months and broke them in sufficiently to make an educated judgment. I really had no desire to spend 5 grand on an amp which would not provide $4000.00 in improved sound. I was correct. The amp is very very good. In fact, I purchased a second and now run one speaker on one amp. Powerful, but accurate, nuanced, good tight control of the bass, clear delineated mids and highs without glare, and much to my surprise, I can locate instruments in space, left, right, center, forward, back, actually quite surprising for this price range. Power is one thing, but if the power applied is muddy, if it doesn't bring the emotion that music can bring, then its for not. My Neighbor uses Krell in his set up and he listened, and listened, and kept listening, we agreed, this is excellent, I was quite surprised actually. Highly recommended and very happy with the amps. |

I bought the Marantz to expand my Yamaha RX-A3040 into 7.2.4 configuration to power my front speakers. (Wharfedale Evo-50 Signature). For movies you can feel the impact and ambience. For Hifi I pair this with my Oppo HA-1 (DAC/Pre-Amplifier) and it is a good match with the Oppo and the Wharfedal speakers. The combo brings out the best in Music and Movies. You be pleasantly surprised how powerful this Marantz is. It is a steal for its price.I would spend more on the source and pre-amplification to bring the best out of the Marantz. |

the marantz mm7025 power amp is great sounding.i am using it right now for powering my surround paradigm studio 20 v4.the sound is just amazing.receivers can't match it for power and realism it produces at 140 watts. my front speakers are boston vr3 towers powered by an anthem integrated amp 225 watts. the sound has never been better.great buy |
