Strength:

Gives you the power and the glory of all kind of music.

Weakness:

None

Simply the most musical, most balanced and most satisfactory amplifier I ever heard and owned. One of the most underestimated amps in the Audio World. Unbelievable.

Strength:

See above description.

Weakness:

This amp fleshes out musical instruments better than anything except the best of the mega buck tube monoblocs (Manley, VTL, ARC Reference Series, VAC)

After being a tube lover for over 20 years, it came as a big surprise that I would enjoy a solid state amplifier so much. I have heard Krell, Levinson, Classe, Gamut, McIntosh and more but none of these combines the utter control and resolution together with a sweet and extended high end I am hearing with the PS Audio powerhouse. My Magnepan 3.6 speakers have never sounded so extended and tight, with depth and soundstaging that seems like surround sound. If I sound overjoyed I purchased this amp, you're right. This is an audio best buy.

Similar Products Used:

None since my last McIntosh 25 years ago.
