I purchased the PS Audio GCA-250 for 900.00 Used off craigslist. I needed an amp that could control my woofers on my Revel Salon 1. I was using a Pass Labs XA30.5 to run the Salons for 30 watts per channel it did an Excellent job. But when I wanted to go Loud the 30.5 could not keep up. The GCA-250 at 30 watts of power felt like it had 3x the bass as the Pass Lab Amp. The Bass on the GCA-250 was Solid Powerful but also Faster with better attack & decay. My Revels at the lower Frequency's is 3.3 OHMS. so the PS Audio amp should put out about 700 watts per channel. it Rocks. the Mid on the GCA-250 is not as lush as the Pass Labs but the PS Audio was more transparent with a deeper & Wider Soundstage. I like the PS Audio overall better than the pass labs. The PS Audio Amp runs Really Cool Not like Class A Amps or even Class A/B Amps. I Owned A PS Audio HCA-2 Amp and it was great, but the GCA-250 Blows it away it is not even in the same Class.

Like its big brother, the GCA-500, the 250 is rock solid, both in sound and build quality. Mated with the PS Audio
