Just bought this used amp to power my mains monitor( it replaces a Bryston 2B-LP). I just could not believe the change in sound the amp brought to my system. Where the Bryston was cold and analytic, the Sima was all sweet. This amp just sings with the tunes. It is very harmonic, almost tubelike. The highs are all there but they do not attack you. The all important mids are soooo sweet. Female voices are not shrill. The bass is also very quick. On big orchestra sound, you can pinpoint every instrument, brass come out almost real life. Sima this amp is fantastic. Even thou is rated at only 50 wpc, the separate power supplies look more that of a 150 wpc with twin toroidal tranformers. When I have more money I'll try to get the new Moon Series. The Bryston is now driving 2 subs, I think this is where is sounds the best.
