Strength:
Detailed, Warm "Liquid" Sound, Control, Good looks
Weakness:
24" Deep This is the 1st amp I have owned. I have been wanting to switch to seperates for over a year. I can't believe the details I have been missing. I have emo'ed Rotel 200W and ATI 2505 with a Casanova. This amp has so much more finesse than others. This is the 1st time I know what "air" means when described with an amp. The highs are sublime. The bass is down right authoritative. The build quality on this amp is superb. Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
solid build,clean open sound
Weakness:
none found yet This is a first for me but i'll give it a go.Having gone through a sony a,v with polk speakers,i went to nht 2.5i,powered by my carver amps.I then bought a pair of legacy classics, with silver screen center channel,a theta casa nova pre,and now the dreadnaught.I am using a sony dvp-s 500d dvd player with kimber digital cable, adgl. My room is med size to small,so it seems like my sound is congested at higher volumes.I have 3 walls made of old sugar mill stones. The amp with this combination seems detailed, but a bit bright. It could be the speakers, dvd player, walls,or all that give this system it,s brightness. The theta combo seems quite good,it better be ,i had to mortgage the farm,so to speak.I am planning to change to a better dvd player,to see if this will change the presentation.I know the classics are clean, and the sony can be to in your face.I feel good wity the amp choice, and look foreward to test it with a higher grade transport. If anyone has some thoughts on this brightness,or equiptment give me a yell. Please be civil,we are all in the same audio boat.
