This is a great amplifier that goes well beyond its integrated amplifier format that we are all somewhat accustomed to and it is incredible how Audio Research Corporation has been able to put so much quality into this project. First of all it is very silent and this despite its nature of thermionic devices and this allows you to "see" clearly in the stage which is well dilated in the three spatial dimensions and consequently the details, the reverberations of the room where the recording was made emerge clearly and with purity, without artifacts. Then what emerges is the beauty of the timbres which are natural and go well beyond the classic definition of the low, medium and high frequencies, timbres which are always realistic and in fact its ability to make the music real is beautiful, projecting the listener on stage, in the middle of the orchestra, this sensation makes your skin crawl. Pair it with speakers at its height and you will hear some great things!

I don't know what weaknesses to attribute to it because to date and after many months of intense listening I haven't found any.
