very powerfull, nice design, low WAF (wife acceptance faktor)

Weakness:

bass hum, metallic sound

After my old Sansui amp. cames end of life I startet to look for new amp. for my system. I want Nacamichi RE-10 from my HiFi dealer but he said to try this amp.He sent me the boxes C 440 tuner and C 320 to home. After installed the system first start with CD (Nacamichi MB-2,Bose 301) I feel strange. Sound was very metallic. And there were loose of some frequencies and sounds. Then I tried that with radio and same unnaturel sound exist. Now I will try 317, and I hope I can find.

Strength:

Sound quality, construction, price

Weakness:

defenitely none

Maybe this is the best amplifier bargain on the market. In a direct comparison with some costlier Marantz and others, the NAD C320 outperformed them clearly in dynamics, control
and soundstage. The construction quality, especially for the price, is just excellent: Toroidal transformer, relais
input-selector. Even a pre-out and main-in is there. Perfect.

Strength:

Very powerful, musical.

Weakness:

Design, remote, may get warm.

Great amp, with dull looks. Now connected with a pair of Dynaudio Audience 40 and a pair of Jamo Omega 1's with a passive sub Earthquake db 15" and the amp just keeps rocking on!

Last year, i've bought this minature speaker after to compare this little baby with Xanadu DS14 Alu and several models from B&W and Totem.
I've played for many years with the B&W 802 MK1. This speaker needs no further intro. The limitation of this model (MK1) it's not the most informative speaker.

My first impression was the clarity, soundstaging, clearance, open, transpirity and a very detailed sound. It's unbelievable how beautiful, voices and instruments like violins, guitars, clarinets, etc especially with classical and jazz can play.
Midrange and treble are perfect (like electrostates), Bass is OK.
It's important that you buy the right stands. The Target R3 or 4, little pricey 800US$. It's worth for this speaker. Listen to your dealer.

My previous setup Rotel 980 pre/ power amp, Rotel RCD975 (Marantz 67 se) with Siltech FTM4 and the vanden Hul the Second Interconnect plays very loud and detailed but not natural, its sounds to round.

One month ago i've replaced the Rotel for the NAD C320 (ca. 1000US$ cheaper! than the Rotel pre/power).
The sound is more natural and you're more involved by the music especially with classical and jazz. Really for 250 US$, i've bought it in Germany.
For that price it's unbelievable.

For the NADC320 and the Monitor Audio Studio 2SE I gave at least 5 stars!!!!!!!

Having tested a C320 NAD amplifier for three days, all I can say is this product didn't give me the sense of music, as I know it from the natural world. It sound always in a distant curtain, with no separation of instruments, no colour, no life. Listening to an orchestre or Jazz through it was a dull experience. I had to send id back and buy someting less on the budget side.Antonio

I got the C320 a few months ago and have been fairly pleased with it's performance. It produces a very fast, punchy bassline and a generally crisp sound. The only thing that I am really able to fault it on are the appearance - it doesn't match with my Marantz CD-48 CD player or my Pioneer tuner.

Strength:

NICE PRICE EVERYTHING PRICE NOW 150 UKP

Weakness:

NOTHING EXCITING

I USE IT WITH SONY 930 + 602S2 B+W . I QUITE PLEASED ALTHOUGH I THINK IT NEEDS GOOD CABLES TO PRODUCE ITS BEST.
DONT TRY CABLE BELOW 30 POUNDS OR BELOW 5 POUNDS A METRE FOR SPEAKERS.
I AM DISSAPOINTED BECAUSE I BOUGHT IT FOR 200 AND OW IS 150
GO FOR IT NOW THEN!!!!!

---TIGHT BASS!---

Weakness:

umz.. none so far, maybe a little tooo crisp sound! The Marantz stuff sounds a little more soft, but then, have pretty muddy bass

MAN!

This amp packs a REEALLLY tight bass! Unbelievable!! My mate's marantz 2x40W amp which costs alot more sounds like a fluffy cheesecake trying to drive speakers compared to the C320! Incredible speaker!! Don't buy too big speakers though. We tested the amps on B&W 601s which is a perfect combo with the C320. It's better to get an active sub to plug into the pre-out on the nad.

EXCELLENT AMP!!! :D

Strength:

very fast, powerful and musical amp.

Weakness:

Looks and build quality not acceptable.

This amp sounds like a dream. Bass is tight and very detailed. Voices sound very natural and well positioned. Imaging is great. Very dynamic. Treble sometimes a bit too sparkling, but with a good recording it's gone, so probably the amp is not to blame but the (very often) bad recording quality.sounds almost as good as the 317 on small bookshelf or floorstanding speakers.
Now for the bad news... It looks awful and that tacky plastic frontpanel is just not acceptable in this price range. Even the remote is hideous. Just compare it to a Sony TA-FB 940R, which costs the same. The Sony looks like a million bucks with its aluminum frontpanel and very solid knobs and it sounds equally good. When it comes to pride of ownership the C320 just can't win.
Would you buy a Mercedes that looks like a Hyundai?
