Strength:

Gorgeous Sound: Power, Power and still more Power!!!!!

Weakness:

No Phono Amp Stage; Poor Remote: Break-In Necessary

I have to say that this amp sounded absolutely dismal straight out of the box: horrendously exaggerated bass and harsh, gritty sound in general. I almost sent it back as defective. Then, at a couple of hours of operation, the bass boom disappeared, and in the ensuing 15 hours or so, the sound has gradually smoothed and become gorgeous. I've never encountered such a dramatic change in any other audio equipment I've owned.

It's hard to praise the sound and seemingly bottomless power of this amp enough. To say I'm pleased would be a vast understatement. It's so much better than the elderly receiver I replaced that it takes my breath away, and my old Marantz was good equipment!

The remote really needs to be redesigned - all the buttons stick on mine unless they're depressed straight down. And I think that anything billed as an "integrated" amp should have a built-in phono stage. But these are really minor carps. The C370 is quality stuff, and I wouldn't take twice what I paid for mine. Now, if only it's durable (my experience with other Chinese-built electronic gear to date has NOT! been reassuring, to say the least.)

These are additional comments to my earlier review.

With regards to that pair of common-steel jumpers linking the C370's Pre-out to Main-in terminals: they should be replaced with a short pair of good interconnects. Fellow Naddies Tom and Zocky, over in the "cheapo"(;-) C350 review section, did just this and claimed an improvement in sound.
I was skeptical at first when I read that, but I gave their tweak a try; replacing the jumpers with QED Qunex 2. And yes, there IS a perceptible sonic improvement. The C370 now sounds even more silkier, and totally grain-free at higher volume levels. Quite amazing.

Strength:

Natural and detailed sound at all frequencies.

Weakness:

None

I loved NAD C340 which I shall never sell, but this amp is really extra special, and sound improved a lot in C370. Sound can be compared with those amps cost 2000 or more $.

Review of that man who gave 1 star should be erased from this section!

5 stars is not enough, Give yourself a listen!

I think this is ideal match for my NAD C370:

Mission 782 (there is no better speakers)

Strength:

Clean , Detailed , Power , Good Bass !!!

Weakness:

Nothing , but non included the tech specification in the Manual

Lettore CD Marantz CD-6000 OSE
Ampli NAD-C370
Diffusori (autocostruiti)
Cavi segnale Monster Cable Interlink 200
Cavi Potenza Mostter Cable XP

un' ultima cosa: se intedete acquistare questo componente (cosa che vi consiglio vivamente) ricordatevi di collegarlo ad una buona sorgente altrimenti non puo' darvi quella caratteristica Audiophile che tanto desiderate ascoltare.

Strength:

Musical. Hi-fi sounds for mid-fi budgets

Weakness:

None. Even when compared to amps costing twice as much.

I've owned the NAD 7225 PE for 10 years. I'm amazed of what this little 25 wt/ch can do compared others that I've owned like say, 120 wt/ch JVC, Onkyo, and HK.

I got rid of all the other receivers except the old NAD.
Nope. NAD is a keeper. Even if it will just collect dust.

I recently bought a new speaker and decided to bite the dust and get a new amp. I decided on NAD because of my previous experience with their products.

I'm glad I did. This amp is awesome. Like the reviewer below said, I feel like I'm listening to my cd's for the first time. Drums sounds like drums, pianos like pianos, guitars like guitars, and Oh my god! The vocals are amazing.

I'm not sure if this amp would sound this great on any system but with my gears, it matches perfectly.

Strength:

Great power. Sounds very involving. Tonally correct. Great pace. I have been waiting for an integrated like this! Has pre-out main-in, plus it has another preout with variable output control!! Remote A-B speaker switching is a great feature! I'll be keeping this amp for a long time.

Weakness:

Remote is so-so.

Nothing near this price can top this amp in sound quality or flexibility! I would say that it sounds pretty much like a c340 with more of everything. Highs are cleaner. Imaging is even better. Lows are astounding. NAD is known for their midrange purity and tonality and this amp is just wonderful. I really couldn't be happier without spending much much more. With this amp I actually don't feel the urge to upgrade.

Thank you NAD for finally coming out with an integrated amp with all the features I could possibly need and beautiful sound quality to match.

Definitely 5 stars across the board.

Strength:

Fast, dynamic, powerful, musical

Weakness:

Terrible remote, ugly, plastic. I guess you are paying for the sound, not the box!

The latest from NAD - an upgraded and more powerful version of the c350 integrated amp.

Sounds far faster and more musical than my old audiolabs. Also auditioned some Marantz amps, but NAD sounded far better.

Currently partnered with Mission 782's (excellent) and budget Marantz cd-48 (great for the money)

Setup sounds very open, detailed, deep, fast bass and fantastic rhythm.

Was a little bright at first (although the speakers are also new, so it may have been the combination), but after a couple of weeks playing now sounds very smooth.

Fantastic value for money!

Strength:

Power, Bass control, open mids

Weakness:

None I can hear of, except if compared with way higher amps

I have upgraded from an Arcam Alpha one to drive my new speakers, JMLab Chorus 725.
The Chorus are amazing speakers, but are a little too generous with bass. Upgrading to nad's C370 solved the problem, and is providing me a really excellent sound for a really low-fi price.
Bass is tight and strong, mediums are clear and "realistics" (especialy women's voices), and the ighs are excellent. Drums are sounding like drums, and even the higher solos of trumpet at a high level are a pleasure to listen to.
As I have two new pieces of gear, They probably are helping each other to achieve this nice and powerfull sound.
The soundstage is wide and and musician "placement" as really improved compared to my Alpha one.

At this price, I can't think of anything else. I am listening to many different style of music, from acid jazz to pure Jazz, tekno to singers, and all the records I feed my system with are really sounding better and closer !!!

I forgot, this amp is reallyu powerfull and drives my 725 to their limit without showing any sign of pain.

I LOVE IT ;)

Strength:

Sounds clear, good tonal balance, clarity, lot of power

Weakness:

not fully open

I like this Int Amp I think this product one of the best for the price, good sound quality, Tonal balance, clarity, sound stage, lots of feature. It’s better if you use good cable and speakers.

Strength:

POWER, smooth detailed sound, POWER, bass weight, POWER, can be upgraded.

Weakness:

For the price...NONE!

I've been a proud owner of the NAD C370 for over 6 months now and I love it. I lived happily with their C340 but soon got the urge for more power. I was using relatively low-sensitivity NHT's and wanted to get a little more out of them. The NAD gave me more but also improved the soundstage and imaging than it's smaller brother.

I now use the C370 in my main 2-ch system with a pair of Vienna Acoustics Mozarts and it sound wonderful. For those that do not care about looks, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better bargain in high-end audio amplification.

Highly recommended!
