Strength:
Warm, musical, detail and liquid clear
Weakness:
not enough power to drive low efficent speaker You can't buy any amp within $1000 has such wonderful sound quality, I can't believe what I heard after I set it up with my infinity RS-3A tower speaker, open, lovely, smooth, warm and detail sound, I will keep this small baby forever. |

Strength:
Great imaging, warmish sound, details
Weakness:
may have some problems with difficult speakers Lovely amplifier, bought it with a Sugden Au41 preamp for only 800$! seems to me like a fantastic price for an ampifier this good. The Au41 doesn't quite keep up with it though and will be replaced in time. Value of course five stars, overall aswell! will keep this baby for a long time i think Similar Products Used: Arcam and NAD amps |

This Class A amplifier is the best amplifier i have heard in the 1000$ price segment. It has a warm rich and open sound with a lot of air around the instruments. A fantastic amplifier if your looking for a bright and warm sound. |

Strength:
Detailed presentation without brittle or edgey sound. Relaxed and warm but transparent and large sound-stage
Weakness:
Needs fairly efficient speakers or smaller room This is the answer for the audiophile who seeks a valve sound without the fuss and unreliability of fragile tubes. Significantly bettered by Sugden Masterclass, but that is at a higher price point. Similar Products Used: Sugden Masterclass pre-power combination. Mark Levinson No26. Quad II monoblocks.
