This is one very interesting british amplifier which is side by side with popular names like Naim, Exposure, Rega, etc. Talk Electronics is british amplifier, but this amplifier delivers sound more interesting then classic british amplifiers. Soundstage is so deep and wide. Imaging is amazing, almost holographic! Most similar sound is delivered from Audio Analogue Puccini SE. Talk Electronics Cyclone 1.2 sounds very close to this, but with much better dynamic. Bass is big and articulated, vocals sounds amazing and clear, instruments are very separated and real, highs are smooth and sweet. Amplifier is very balanced. All spectre are there (bass, mid, treble), and pairs very well with wide range of speakers. This is one true audiophile product. Sounds incredible for its price. You can't go wrong with this one. Highly recomended! |

The Talk Cyclone is a very interesting amplifier and features all of the usual features that we have come to expect from a proper British integrated. Toroidal power supply; Darlington outputs; direct circuit switching to minimize internal wiring and subsequent signal loss; and good solid build quality. Indeed it has all of the internal ingredients of a textbook “proper” British integrated as established by the likes of Rega; Cambridge; Arcam, Creek and others; however that is where the similarities end.
