Very transparent sound.

I was originally auditioning the Audio Refinement Complete integrated at the dealer. Audio Refinement is the economy division of YBA. The dealer also had the separates. These are the Multi 3 preamp and Multi 2 125 wpc power amp.
Changing to the separates from The Complete, there was a significant improvement in the transparency of the sound. As Stereophile gave The Complete a "B", based on what I heard, the separates would rate at least an A-.
Unfortunately I could not hear the A-R with the speakers I wanted (B&W) and there are no reviews on the product so I backed out and went with the Musical Fidelity. However, I wanted to post here because the A-R components sounded very impressive and look to be just as good. Definitely worth auditioning.
