What is this with buying a separate pre-amp? Why not just put your money into a better receiver? TEAC all the way, baby! |

audiosource pre one I have used for two years and have no complaints. I found mine on clearance for 79.95 because they did not sell. At list price it is a good preamp,if you live in a cowtown like I do you may find a deal like I did. happy hunting! |

The Pre-One is a decent product for the price point. It has 6 inputs more than most higher priced preamps. Capable of two tape decks and a phono. Also has bass, midrange, and treble controls. Perfect for entry-level audio who doesn't listen to much radio. When teamed up with the AudioSource EQ14 you will have the ability to listen to one source while recording from another. The price runs around $219 US. |

Strength:
cheap
Weakness:
bleading, notched volume knob, no remote, severe coloration, lights burnout, buzzing humming, etc etc etc. I recommended this inexpensive pre-amp tp my dad when I convinced him to go to seperates. the fact is this pre makes a good case for integrated. This is an awful piece of equipment. Dont buy it at any price. Similar Products Used: some tin-foil and a wire coat hanger |
