Excellent build quality

Too much money for performance

I have to admit. My bryston sounded just as good and cost far, far less. Yes, the boulder has exceptional build quality, probably the best available. But for the price, I had to return it. Money is not a worry for me, but common sense is. I am actually getting tired of these expensive high-end audio products. When your hi-fi systems cost more than the equipment cost to produce the music, there is an obvious problem. You can't put something into the music that isn't there--a CD is only going to sound so good. I think that people are acutally more proud of the name and the sticker than of the performance. I just like music. My stereo is for me. And I, and the only one who knows what name is on the package, and how much I really paid.
