This small little thing gives the cleanest, lest coloured sound I have heard from any pre amp actually. (I should add that I haven't listened to any above the $ 10,000-mark, but this is quite far below that.) It reminds me a bit of some good passive pre-amps I have heard, but without the obvious problems that comes with those. On the contrary, the PreTwentyFive is very capable of driving long cables and weak sources. It's hand made in Sweden, so might be difficult to get hold of unfortunately.
