This preamp can compete with models well over double the price. The soundstage is well defined and deep. Just because this is entry level price doesn't mean it has entry level sound.

I am very fond of this product.I particularly like the fact that it has a built-in dedicated headphone amplifier, as I am also fond of quality headphones.
