Strength:
Very useful machine with the appearance of a "conventionel" stereo component, but really a Black Line Sansui.
Weakness:
None This is no preamp but a mixing console in disguise. It gives you much more inputs and allows mixing functions for disco, party a.s.o. as well as additional reverberation. If you have a lot of sources or recorders this may be the solution. And because you get four microphone inputs you can record i.e. your children's voices on tape or cd even if your machines don't allow microphones. Features are marvelous and unique, the sound is good. You will need a little practice to learn and use all functions. Similar Products Used: Sansui AU-X1/TU-X1/CA-F1/BA-F1 |

I own a Sansui Sound Consolette AX-7,however, I don't know what is the function of this equipment. I would be very thankful if anyone can give me the best way to connect the devices of my sound system. My system indludes: 1 LG dvd player, 1 Phonic equalizer, 1 Phonic amplifier and the above-mentioned device. My email: anhdung1976@yahoo.com Thankyou. |

Strength:
Very useful little unit, and looks nicer than adding a console mixer to a home stereo.
Weakness:
Prone to noise, if not properly grounded. Also, a lot of rotary pots, so keep contact cleaner handy. The Sansui AX-7 Mixer Console is truly a unique piece of equipment. I've never seen a similar product offering by any other audio manufacturer. It is a 19" rackmountable mixer with effects inputs, built in recording reverb (spring tank type - can you say retro o o o o?) and a host of individual level controls as well as a master.
