I bought yesterday this pre amp (second hand) as a replacement for Creek 5250 SE integrated, which has been serviced as a pre amp a round 6 years. I liked Creek's sound; it's impact and rythm and soundstage. Creek's only drawback is that poor records really sound awfull, so Creek is not always enjoyable. Those who think: why use a Integrated pre stage as a preamp: This Creek 5250 SE can be used that way and it operates as a passive pre amp also. Creek kicks ass many competitors under 1,5 k€.

But this Vincet SA 93: It's rock solid contruct, fully metalllic remote and heyvy weight builds up strong quality feeling as start. But still the best part is the sound. The sound has impact (as Creek has), but still it digs massive amounts of details, echoes etc. totally unheard before with the Creek amp. Soundstage is also three dimensional quite a like Creek offers. And those certain difficult recordings with the Creek: the are not ear tearing anymore vith the Vincet.

This machine is total steal for the price. Full recommendations.
