This unit reproduces music beautifully,as only tubes can. Available resonably in the used market.

Replacing those 7591 output tubes will keep your kids from going to college.

This was part of an old,huge early 1960's console stereo. I took the receiver out and hooked it up to a pair of small Phase Techs and a Velodyne 810 sub. This is my basement system and the sound is quite impressive,even with the tin ceiling ! The unit can be had for about $200.00 on ebay. Beware a matched set of 7591 outputs will set you back as much as the unit itself. The rest of the tubes are resonable and readily available. I intend to do the "Fisher Doc" mod for improved sound and extended tube life. Tubes are tops !
