Strength:
Audiophile sound.
Weakness:
Burn-in takes about 100 hours. This is a rather economical means of getting into high-end quality sound. I can find very little wrong with this receiver. I would compare this with amps costing much more. Onkyo seemingly has taken upscale audio technology and mass produced it at lower cost. I use a Cambridge Azur 640C v.2 CD player as my source and get a great sound. Before you spend a lot on amplification try this unit out. If you are like me you wont go farther. At 100 watts it drives my Tannoys quite well.
