I purchaced this reciver about a week ago. I bought two cerwin vega speakers with it. It is overall a pretty good reciver, but not so good if you like low bass. The frequency response only goes down to 40hz. I hooked the same speakers up to my friends technics reciver an it was twice as good. I am probably going to return it and get a technics.

I just recently bought a pair of Optimus speakers with 15-inch woffers, but I didn't have a decent receiver. I shopped around a bit and everything was way too expensive for me. I saw this receiver in a flyer and thought it was a great price for a receiver with 100 watts. I didn't want it for a home theatre, so I didn't need any fancy digital stuff, so I bought it. Overall, I think it ia a great receiver for a great price.
